Wheelabrator Technologies has submitted a Development Consent Order (DCO) application to the Planning Inspectorate for two waste-to-energy projects. The first is for the construction and operation of Wheelabrator Kemsley (K3) and the second is a new 42MW (gross) waste-to-energy facility, Wheelabrator Kemsley North (WKN).
Both facilities are located adjacent to DS Smith’s paper mill in Kemsley. Our application was accepted for examination on 8 October 2019 by the Planning Inspectorate
